Providing surge-voltage protection in industrial and consumer electronics, the LS41 and LS42 series varistors offer higher surge current capabilities, on the orders of 50 kA (at a pulse form of 8/20 µs) and 65 kA, respectively. Both series come in compact packages measuring 37.5 mm x 46 mm x 46 mm. The LS41 is rated for voltages of 130 to 460 Vac while the LS42 handles voltages between 250 and 460 Vac.
