The Model SA-122SE miniature force balance accelerometer is intended to replace older, less accurate strain gage-type accelerometers. The force balance design yields higher output, inherent regulation and superior stability when compared with strain gage types. The bias excitation range is from 5 to 12 vdc, and damping is obtained electronically, rather than by means of a fluid, so it's not affected by temperature variations. With low current draw and low voltage operation, the device is well-suited for battery-powered operation. High level output is ±1V, and range is ±0.1 to ±100G. Operating temperature is -55°C to 175°C.
