Fully compliant with Bellcore Stratum 3 and ITU-IT standards, the CTM5100 Frequency Translation Module translates external references into any digital frequency protocol, outputting a clean, stable, low-jitter signal. The device accommodates two reference sources via programmable inputs, both typically at 8 kHz. The synthesized output frequency is available at selected frequencies up to 38.88 MHz. The device operates on 5.0V and can use the company's K2005AS OCXO and K1603T TCXO.
Measuring a compact 2.0" x 2.0" x 0.75", the device also features: alarm outputs providing notification of loss of signal and loss of lock; programmable holdover mode in the absence or loss of reference signal; forced free-run mode that references the output to the internal reference oscillator's nominal frequency; and edge triggered inputs. Pricing starts at approximately $380 each/1,000.
