HCMOS Oscillators Offers Stabilities Down To 8 PPM

Oct. 8, 2008
The company now offers HCMOS oscillators with an operating voltage of 2.5V and stabilities as low as 8 ppm. Stability options include 15 ppm (F547), 10 ppm (F549), and 8 ppm (F54S), each with a phase noise of -140 BC/Hz at a 10-kHz offset and a jitter

The company now offers HCMOS oscillators with an operating voltage of 2.5V and stabilities as low as 8 ppm. Stability options include 15 ppm (F547), 10 ppm (F549), and 8 ppm (F54S), each with a phase noise of -140 BC/Hz at a 10-kHz offset and a jitter period of 3 ps rms. The oscillators also operate over a temperature range from -20°C to +70°C or an optional range from -40°C to +85°C (R Version) and feature a maximum soldering temperature of 260°C for 10s. The HCMOS components specify an input current of 7 mA and an output current of 4 mA minimum. Output symmetry is 45% to 55% over a frequency range of 4 MHz to 54 MHz. Pricing for an 8-ppm, -40°C to +85°C F54SR is $1.69 each/10,000. FOX ELECTRONICS, Fort Myers, FL. (888) 438-2369.
