The frequency range of the firm’s high-frequency fundamental (HFF) thickness, shear-mode, AT-cut quartz crystal resonators has been extended to 200 MHz. The CC1F (ceramic lid) series is suited for the latest high-speed communication systems that require high frequency references, such as fiber-optic telecommunications, Gigabit Ethernet, and frame relay applications. The firm’s inverted-mesa crystal processing technologies were improved to extend the frequency range from 160 MHz up to 200 MHz. The resonators are offered in a frequency range of 30 MHz to 200 MHz. They’re said to be very rugged as a result of single-ended rigid mounting and encapsulation in a hermetically sealed, surface-mounted package. The devices measure 8.1 x 3.8 x 1.8 mm. Other key features include low power dissipation, excellent stability over temperature, high shock resistance, large pulling range, and tight jitter performance.
