Extending the E Series line, the Positek E111 intrinsically safe linear position sensor finds employment in potentially explosive dust and gas/vapor atmospheres. Like its predecessors, the component is ATEX approved to Ex II 1GD EEx ia IIC T4 Ex iaD 20 T135°C (Ta = -40°C to +80°C). Operating temperature range is from -40 to +80°C. With no wearing contacts, the sensor exhibits a virtually infinite lifespan. Additionally, it includes a 12.7-mm target rod for applications where vibration is an issue or where there is a need for longer travel sensors. Other features include a measurement range from 50 mm to 600 mm, a variety of mounting configurations, and an optional shaft boot. EVERIGHT PRECISION TECHNOLOGIES CORP., Moorestown, NJ.
