Groomed for measuring gases and liquids in high-purity applications, the stainless steel AST4900 pressure sensor exploits Krystal Bond technology, which keeps it free of oil-fill, welds and internal O-rings. The media isolated pressure sensor also holds CE EN61326 certification and UL/cUL508 approval. It is available in two standard fittings: 1/4" NPT Male and 1/4" VCR Male. Each sensing element, machined from 316L stainless steel, is electro polished, a process that employs an acidic viscous medium for the transportation of ions to allow surface undulations to form a more planar surface finish. Scalable pressure ranges include 0 to 25 psi and 0 to 10,000 psi and compound ranges are also available. Operating temperature range is from-40° to 85°C. Pricing for the AST4900 begins at $395 each.
