Suiting embedded applications where mounting versatility is required, the LCG50 single-axis, MEMS-based angular-rate quartz sensor is packaged on a PCB module measuring 26 mm x 26 mm x 10.7 mm and comes with all mounting hardware. All it requires is a dc input of 5V. Performance specifications include an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C (Storage -55°C to +100°C), operating vibration of 5g (10g survival), and a shock rating of 500g peak. Other features include an input current of less than 8 mA and an internal temperature sensor. The LCG50 is available in three ranges: ±100°/s, ±250°/s, and ±500°/s.
