The GS2 series of 3- and 6-W wall-mount switching power supplies from Advanced Power Solutions targets portable medical applications. The series comprises 22 output voltage models ranging from 5 to 24 V dc and 3 or 6 W of output power.

The GS2 series of 3- and 6-W wall-mount switching power supplies from Advanced Power Solutions targets portable medical applications. The series comprises 22 output voltage models ranging from 5 to 24 V dc and 3 or 6 W of output power. Four mechanical packages are available for outlets in North America, Europe, the U.K., and Australia.

The supplies come in a miniature package that measures 2.52 by 1.77 by 1.10 in. They feature universal ac input, overvoltage/overcurrent/overtemperature protection circuits, 100-µA leakage at 240 V ac, a dual input fuse, UL60601-1 and TUV EN60601-1 safety approvals, Class B emissions, and a two-year warranty. All models are available with customizable dc cable lengths and connectors.
