Designed for use as clock sources for CPUs in automotive power trains and safety control devices, the NX5032GA and the NX8045GB clock crystals measure 5 mm x 3.2 mm x 1.3 mm and 8 mm x 4.5 mm x 1.8 mm, respectively. The crystals are available in a frequency range from 8 to 40 MHz with a frequency tolerance of ±50 ppm at 25°C ±3°C. They operate over a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and report reliable environmental characteristics including high vibration and impact resistance. Other features include a drive level of 10 µW with a standard load capacitance of 8 pF, an equivalent series resistance of 220? at 8 to 10 MHz and 150? at 10 to 40 MHz maximum, and ceramic lead-free packages that meet the requirements for re-flow profiling using lead-free solder. Price for either crystal is $0.495 each/10,000. NIHON DEMPA KOGYO CO. LTD., Belvidere, IL. (800) 635-9825.
