High switching capability at a low cost are promised with the A8L miniature rocker switch. The switch has a small contact gap of 3 mm and features easy snap-in mounting. It is sized smaller to fit with other downsized components and features a resistive load of 10A and a lamp load of 10A. The switch can reportedly withstand inrush currents up to 100A and is available in single-pole and double-pole versions, as well as with or without markings on caps.
The switch is well suited for computer peripheral and office automation products, including fax machines, paper shredders, copiers and printers. It can also be used for home appliances such as air cleaners and humidifiers. Pricing is $0.515 each/1,000.
