Miniature Slide Switches Feature Actuators As Low As 1 mm

Sept. 18, 2013
Low-profile, sub-miniature slide 1- or 2-pole switches feature actuators with heights ranging from 2 mm to as low as low as 1 mm.

C&K’s JS Slide Series of low-profile, sub-miniature slide switches are ideally suited for applications with limited PC board space and height restrictions, including mobile telecommunications, computer peripherals, instrumentation and remote-control equipment. The one- or two-pole switches feature actuators with heights ranging from 2 mm to as low as low as 1 mm, making them more operable. Available in single-, double- and triple-throw circuits, the switches are offered in surface mount and through-hole configurations. Electrical rating is 0.3 A at 6 VDC, with a minimum electrical life of 10,000 cycles and actuator travel of 1 and 2 mm respectively. The miniature slide switches are lead free and process compatible, and available in tape and reel packaging. Designed in maintained circuit configurations with right and center actuation options, the devices also feature silver contacts and IR re-flows to 260°C solder profile. The JS Series slide switches can withstand a shock/vibration of 10 to 55 Hz 1min sweep, and have an operating temperature range from -10°C to +60°C.
