Said to be the first MS 3320 circuit breaker rated to 35A, the 483 Series numbers among its many features an advanced dual chamber construction, allowing the breakers to handle large DC currents. The lightweight (24g), single-pole, aircraft-style thermal breakers also exceed the MS 3320 specs for mechanical endurance, vibration and shock, as well as offering a tease-free, trip-free snap-action mechanism and push/pull on/off manual actuation. An indicator band on the pushbutton shows the tripped/off position. The 483 is also temperature compensated from -55°C to 125°C.
