Intended for use in applications where an extremely small footprint is required, the PACDN14XXC and PACDN-24XXC are electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection products available in the chip-scale package (CSP) format. These 4- and 16-channel devices are additions to the company's chip-scale ESD device featuring eight channels of protection. The PACDN-2404C and PACDN-2416C are configured with back-to-back zener diode connections for protection of ac signal lines, such as analog line level audio and video signals found in set-top boxes, DVD players and VCRs.
Pricing for PACDN-1404C and PACDN-2404C is $0.27 each/10,000 and for the PACDN-1416C and PACDN-2416C, $0.95. Samples are available now; production time is eight weeks ARO.
