Through inclusion of an oven ready indicator pin, the EGOV5S3 crystal-controlled oscillator (OCXO) notifies the system when the oscillator reaches its operating temperature. In addition the device has low jitter of less than 3 psRMS from 10 Hz to 20 MHz and a tight frequency tolerance of ±4.6 ppm. The new OCXO is suitable for use in PLL circuits employed in Stratum 3 systems. Frequency range options for the 14-pin DIP device range from 1 MHz to 80 MHz. Pricing is $69 each/500.
