AMS Technologies broadened its product range for passive components by adding connectors, interconnects and SFPs from Methode Electronics to the mix. AMS initially had Caddock Electronics' products in its stable. Methode Electronics develops and manufactures connectors, cables, and customised interconnects and cable assemblies according to industrial standards.

The connectors are used in computers, telecommunications, and medical and industrial applications, as well as in the aerospace industry. All standard products can be modified to fit customers' special requirements. Furthermore, Methode Electronics is able to develop special designs of products not listed in the catalogue.
