Promising a high stroke-to-length advantage for hydraulic cylinder positioning, the hermetically sealed LP 750 series linear position sensors measure 19 mm in diameter and offer an infinite cycle life to serve as long-life replacements for failing potentiometers in a wide range of industrial applications. Offering a desirable ratio of a short sensor body length to sensor range, the sensors suit long-stroke applications where sensor length needs to be the same length as the stroke. Constructed entirely of stainless steel, they adhere to the IP-68 standard. The components are available in standard ranges of 100 mm to 600 mm and come with a pre-calibrated, loop-powered 4- to 20-mA input/output (Model LPIR) or a nominal 24 Vdc input with a 0 to 10 Vdc output (Model LPER). Other features include a maximum linearity error of ±0.25% of full-scale output. MACRO SENSORS, Pennsauken, NJ. (856) 662-8000.
