Tooling up for deployment in electron- and ion-beam systems, the OL20K and OL30K extend the company's family of high-output, high-voltage power supplies with maximum output powers to 20 kW and 30 kW, respectively, at voltages up to 200 kV. Similar to established members of the family, the latest supplies come as dual units: a converter housed in a 6U, rack-mount cabinet and a separate high-voltage multiplier assembly. Individual 20 kV multiplier discs are built up to provide total output voltages between 100 kV and 200 kV, and outputs can be paralleled for higher currents. Low-voltage units down to 1 kV are available for high-current applications. Control and monitoring are via analog programming or by using dual fiber-optic links to a PC running custom control software. Prices start at $27,000 in production quantities. For further information, call HITEK POWER, Santee, CA. (619) 258-7700.
