Designed to provide the high computing power in a limited space, the MCH-224-ATX and MCH-218 series of 2U-high, 19-inch rack-mount chassis can house up to eight disk drives and a power supply. The MCH-224-ATX features an ATX- or Micro ATX-compatible baseplate and can accommodate eight disk drives. In addition, one 5.25" and one 3.5" are accessible from the front.The MCH-218 version offers space for six full-size ISA or PICMG cards and can house up to three disk drives, two of which are also accessible fom the front. The drive bays of both chassis are shock resistant and have lockable front panels.The units are configured with 300W power supplies. An optional 400W supply is available for the MCH-224-ATX and a 200W or dual hot-swappable 230W supplies are available for the MCH-218. Both chassis include hot-swappable, high-speed 42.5 cfm ball bearing fans.
