The mid-rage, 19-inch, 9U rack-mount/benchtop chassis offer 21 usable 6U x 160-mm front-accessible slots and 21 6U x 80-mm rear transition slots in a package measuring just 15.75" x 17" x 12" deep. Constructed of 0.09" lightweight 5052-H32 aluminum, the enclosures weigh approximately 35 lb. without cards and support a variety of peripheral drives, allowing use of a combination of front-accessible and embedded devices.The sub-racks are compliant with IEEE 1101.10 and 1101.11. And the chassis is designed to support hot-swap and N+1 power options, with the unitsÕ 350W, front-pluggable power supply capable of handling ac or dc input. The backplane supports 32- and 64-bit PCI architectures. Other standard features include a monitored hot-pluggable fan tray with two 141 cfm brushless ball-bearing blowers. The rear panel includes an ESD jack and a ground stud in addition to an ac/dc power switch. Prices start at $3,195.
