Suitable for consumer oriented weather stations, sports watches, and recreational products, the MS5534A series digital-output barometric pressure sensors provide both barometric pressure and temperature outputs with an accuracy of under 1% FS/-10°C to +60°C. Other applications include navigation systems and medical products that require compensation for barometric pressure. The sensor operates on 2.2V to 3.6V and draws only 5 mA of current. Other features include 15-bit resolution, no warm-up time, a low profile of 9 mm x 9 mm, a temperature measurement accuracy of ±0.8°C, an overall accuracy of better than 1% over full temperature and supply voltage ranges, and a serial interface. Prices start at $24 each.
