The PolySwitch line of polymeric positive temperature coefficient SMT resettable fuses has doubled in size with the rollout of 21 new devices. The additions are intended for a wide range of applications- their use extends from industrial to automotive to portable consumer electronics. Several are designed specifically for USB and IEEE 1394 port protection applications.Among the new fuses are six microSMD (1210 form factor) types with hold currents ranging from 0.05A at 30V to 1A at 6V. There also are eight new miniSMD (1812 form factor) types rated from 0.010A to 2A with voltage ratings of 6V to 60V. The other new parts come in larger (2018, 2920 and 3425) form factors.
