The SS series snap action switches sport a sub-miniature package size and target high-reliability applications. They are available with an array of different actuator styles and termination options. Electrical life expectancy is typically 100,000 cycles and mechanical life is 1,000,000 cycles. Maximum current ratings for the gold-plated contacts are 0.4 VA at 20 Vdc or Vac, 0.1A at 5 Vdc, 1.5A at 250 Vac, and 3A at 125 Vac. Other features include an insulation resistance of 100 MΩ at 500 Vdc minimum and an operating temperature range from -25ºC to +75ºC. Price starts at $0.23 each. E-SWITCH INC., Minneapolis, MN.
