A new broadband surge arrestor has been developed to protect fixed broadband wireless systems equipment from voltage transients. Specially created for broadband systems from 2,000 MHz to 2,800 MHz, the new surge arrestor has proprietary manufacturing technology to withstand multiple lightning strikes. The design of the device also gives it maximum weather resistance and makes it easy to install. The arrestor is compliant with the IEEE 802.11b standard and comes with Type-N female bulkhead to Type-N female interfaces. ANDREW CORP., Orland Park, IL. (800) 255-1479.
