A series of surge suppressors have been designed to protect measurement and process control equipment, instrumentation, and telecomm equipment. The suppressors are configured for mounting on DIN-rails and can accommodate 2, 3, 4 or 6 signal/data lines.
The products can be used on analog or digital signal/data lines, or on RS-422, RS-485 or RS-232 lines. Called the SDD-400 series, the products allow direct wire termination and provide 2.4 kA/line of surge protection.
The surge suppressors have sub-nanosecond response time to prevent electrical failure due to lightning, spikes and overvoltage surges and are UL listed to UL497B. Pricing for the two-wire suppressors is $60 each/100 and for the six-wire suppressors, $85 each/100.
