Versatile 19" Enclosures Provide Reliable Thermal Management

Described as versatile and promising reliable thermal management, the Diplomat line of 19" and half-width desktop cases and 19" vertical and horizontal case frames are a available in 3U, 4U, 6U, and 9U heights and depths of 322 mm, 422 mm, 522 mm, and 622 mm. Suitable for use during system development and as housing for production status units, the case frames provide direct mounting for Eurocard format PCBs in a configurable sub-rack system. For ventilation, all horizontal versions offer an optional 38-mm, ventilation plinth with deep filtering that allows air to be drawn into the unit from below. The ventilation plinth increases air throughput and provides a uniform airflow across the full width of the unit. Other options include a range of transparent acrylic front doors, rear bump-down feet, a heavy-duty carry handle, telescopic slides for sub-rack/chassis mounting in the 19" case versions, and carpet gliders for the tower versions.
