The AG and FC series RoHS-compatible watch crystals are available in a wide range of surface-mount package styles for use in a variety of applications. Each specifies a nominal frequency of 32.768 kHz, making them candidates for use in real-time clock applications. Calibration tolerance is ±20 ppm standard on most devices, ±50 ppm standard on AG and FC series parts with ±20 ppm also available. Package sizes include 6 mm x 2 mm, 8.7 mm x 3.8 mm, 10.4 mm x 4 mm, 7 mm x 1.5 mm, 5 mm x 1.9 mm, and 3.2 mm x 1.2 mm. Typical specifications include maximum drive levels of 1 µW, aging of ±3 ppm maximum during the first year, load capacitance of 12.5 pF (7 pF available on some models), and an operating temperature range from –40ºC to +85ºC.
