New DC-DC Converter Series Boosts Efficiency, No-Load Power Consumption

March 11, 2014
Mornsun’s latest series of dc-dc converters improve on its earlier generation in terms of efficiency, no-load power consumption, and short-circuit protection.

Mornsun’s latest series of dc-dc converters improve on its earlier generation in terms of efficiency, no-load power consumption, and short-circuit protection. The compact IF/B_XT-1WR2, F/B_XT-2WR2, F_D-1WR2, R2 series devices offer high thermostability and high isolated voltage in surface-mount packaging, suiting them for industrial-control, power-electronics, communication-equipment, and intelligent monitoring system applications, among others. The low-ripple, low-noise IF/B_XT-1WR2 features isolation voltage up to 3kV dc. Operating temperature ranges from ‒40 to 85°C. The UL/EN60950-certified F/B0505XT-2WR2 delivers full-load efficiency of up to 85% (as well as enhanced light-load efficiency) along with isolation voltage that reaches 3000 V dc. Operating temperature ranges from ‒40 ~ 105°C.
