The youngest member of the company's high-definition PC audio codec family, the 92HD75B, promises greater design flexibility by achieving Windows Logo Program compatibility in the smallest form factor currently available. Similar to its predecessors, the device includes a proprietary IDT HD sound graphical user interface that provides intuitive initial set-up, input/output audio jack configurability, and allows users to dynamically adjust their audio experience based on application, environment, and content. The device is available in a smaller 32-pin QFN package and features two stereo-input and two stereo-output channels, compatibility with the Intel high definition audio interface, and extensive optimizations to minimize unwanted audio artifacts such as pops during power up. The 92HD75B and related software supports full-duplex stereo audio and simultaneous VoIP telephony via support for multiple, independent audio streams. Currently sampling in a 32-pad QFN package, price is $0.95 each/10,000. INTEGRATED DEVICE TECHNOLOGY INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 345-7015.
