The OV9740, a 1/6.5-inch system-on-chip (SoC) CMOS image sensor designed for portable video apps, meets the video-quality requirements of applications such as MS Office Communicator and Skype.

The OV9740, a 1/6.5-inch system-on-chip (SoC) CMOS image sensor designed for portable video apps, meets the video-quality requirements of applications such as MS Office Communicator and Skype. Combining a 1.75-mm OmniBSI backside illumination pixel architecture and an image-signal processor, the camera delivers 720p native high-definition video at 30 fps.
