The first full-color organic LED (OLED) display with a 1.6-in. diagonal is finally available in mass-production quantities. Viewing and active areas measure 34.00 by 34.00 and 27.275 by 27.275 mm, respectively. The passive matrix display offers 262,000 18-bit colors and a 100:1 contrast ratio. It also features 160° horizontal and viewing angles and is less than 2 mm thick. The display is powered from 8 to 16 V and has logic levels of 2.4 to 3.5 V. Dot pitch is 0.7 by 0.21 mm, and dot size measures 0.045 by 0.185 mm. Sample quantity pricing starts at $45 each. Contact the company for volume-quantity pricing.
