The UCL-520 series continuous, ultrasonic level sensors handle difficult non-contact applications such as industrial water treatment, wastewater management, and chemical storage. Employing a two-wire ultrasonic transmitter for measurement distances up to 8m, the components integrate a rugged PVDF transducer for ultra pure, corrosive, or waste liquids. Reportedly easy to install in limited-space applications, they exhibit a minimum 8” dead band that allows for maximum fill of media. Other features include a 7.6-cm minimum beam width, selectable display indicating levels in air gaps or liquid height, and push button calibration with a six-segment LCD.
