The SG series programmable dc power supplies are said to introduce unique performance features and take a bold direction in styling. Available in 5 to 150 kW configurations, the supplies employ a modular architecture that is both upgradeable and expandable, ensuring maximum value over time. Two models represent the series: the SGA and SGI. The lower-priced SGA provides necessary control capabilities, such as front panel programming of voltage, current, and over-voltage protection, plus a 3.5-digit LED display. For more sophisticated applications, the SGI provides a constant power mode and sequencing functions, soft keys, and a graphical vacuum florescence display that supports several international languages. Both series offer 60V to 600V supplies and exhibit transient response times of less than 1 ms for a 50% load step. Several options are also available. ELGAR ELECTRONICS CORP., San Diego, CA.
