Digital Visual Interfaces Exceed DVI 1.0 Compliance

According to the company, its PanelBus family of digital visual interfaces (DVIs) go beyond DVI 1.0 compliance to offer designers greater versatility to implement the new display standard. The initial offering includes five transmitters and seven receivers that use the company's TMDs core technology.Available in a number of frequencies from 25 to 165 MHz, the devices support resolutions from VGA to UXGA. Employing a double-clocked digital-video-out input to provide 24-bits per pixel, the transmitters can support up to 16.7-million colors.The DVIs come in several configurations including transmitters with NTSC/PAL encoding. All are packaged in the company's PowerPAD thin-quad flat packs.
