A new enclosure has been designed for housing hand-held, portable and table-top electronics for indoor and outdoor applications. The Tekbox TB comes in seven sizes ranging from 4.96" x 2.67" x 0.96" to 7.87" x 3.70" x 1.24". Versions are offered with or without battery compartments for one 9V cell or two 1.5V AA batteries. The T style TBT models have extra room in the head section for large graphic displays. Different size display windows can be machined to suit the customer’s LCD module. Tekbox cases are molded in off-white or black ABS, and assembled by four self-tapping screws. A recessed area in the top section can be used for fitting a membrane keypad or product label.
