Handheld IR Thermometer Employs Twin-Beam Laser

Dec. 1, 1998

Small enough to fit into a pocket, the THI-400N is a compact and lightweight handheld infrared thermometer that provides precise twin-beam laser targeting and non-contact temperature measurement. The unit's adjustable emissivity and twin laser-beam indication of the measurement area reportedly make it more accurate than manually-sighted or single-laser IR thermometers. Other features include: an easy-to-read LCD display; operation on four user-replaceable AAA batteries; and Hold, Max./Min. readings; selectable Fahrenheit or Celsius scales; and visual/audible warning indicators. Temperature range is 22°F to 752°F.
