HMI Device Toughs Out Harsh Environments

Designed specifically for affordability and flexibility in harsh environments, the eTOP50 touch-screen, human machine interface (HMI) device features a 15.1" diagonal TFT color display with up to 50 rows of information. The resistive touch screen combined with a novel aluminum bezel are said to provide a rugged, flat design, as well as IP65 front-panel protection.
Other features include 8 MB of flash memory, support for more than 130 communications drivers for industrial devices, analog gauges, dynamic graphic objects, historical and real-time trending, recipe capability, eight levels of password protection, and the ability to display data in numerical, text and bargraph format. The device is set up with a single Windows-based configuration software package.
