The NOTEBOOK, NOTEBOOKpro, CONTROL and CONTROLpro family of instrumentation and control software has been upgraded to include advanced symbol and communications tools. The addition of Symbol Factory provides a library of over 3,000 symbols, which include 3D ISA, air conditioning blower, chemical, controller, electrical, flow meter, and material-handling graphics.
In addition, the VISIONpro 32-bit network client allows remote viewing and control over the Internet or LANs. Other enhancements include 32-bit memory management for unlimited trend displays and new 32-bit drivers for a variety of I/O devices. Designated as Version 12, the upgrades are priced as follows: Symbol Factory is bundled for free with CONTROLpro and is priced at $495 as an option with the other applications or $280 as an upgrade from Version 11; VISIONpro development version costs $495 and $199 in the runtime version, both for a single CPU.
