The EL6253C helps CD-R/W drive OEMs design high record and rewrite speed optical disk drives. The EL6253C is completely compatible with industry standards for next-generation laser driver applications in CD-R, CD-R/W, MO, and DVD rewritable optical drive designs. This device integrates three channels needed for read, erase, and write laser drive power levels as well as a high frequency modulator oscillator and high speed, high current output driver. This highly integrated IC is compliant with the Orange Specification Standard for CD-R and CD-R/W formats.
