This fully addressable graphics panel offers a 480 x 320 dot resolution display (1/2-VGA) at a price said to be comparable to existing 1/4-VGA units. The Maximiser2 FSTN-type, transflective-mode LCD is designed to provide a bright, clear display easily readable in ambient light, with a built-in backlight provided for use where the display module has to operate in low-light environs or in darkness.Employing white LEDs that assure good efficiency of operation and a long, 50,000-hr. lifetime, the Maximiser2 has an active display area of 115.2 mm x 76.8 mm and an overall size of 144 mm x 94.9 mm, excluding mounting. Overall thickness is only 10.5 mm. The unit also features a -20¡C to +70¡C operating temperature range and a -30¡C to +80¡C storage temperature range. Connection is via a standard 20-pin connector for the display panel itself and a 2-pin connector on a flying lead for the LED drive. Drive voltage for the panel is 23.8V, with a frame rate of 70 Hz.
