Microprocessor Technology Enhances Temperature Controller

Employing microprocessor-based technology to achieve high reliability and accuracy, the Model 2901 digital temperature controller is designed for a wide range of industrial applications in temperature ranges of 100°F to 900°F and especially suits the commercial food equipment industry. The new controller boasts a large, 0.56'', four-digit display for easy visibility of temperature and time in low-light conditions. Other key features include a maximum operating temperature of 158°F with 0 to 90% relative humidity (non-condensing), SSR drive output, and factory-set optional beeper for high/low temperature and timing. The controller can be ordered with factory-fixed or user-selectable input voltages. Factory settings include 115, 230, and 208 Vac and 24 Vac/Vdc at 50/60 Hz, while user-selectable voltages are 115/230 Vac at 50/60 Hz. The device measures 6.2''W x 2.1''L x 1.5''D and sports 0.25" quick-connect input and output connections. The Model 2901 comes with temperature control only or both time and temperature control, and requires a Type J thermocouple sensor and solid-state relay, sold separately.
