Incorporating a remotely mounted infrared sensor head connected to a high-performance, microprocessor-based signal conditioner, the OS100E series of miniature infrared transmitters measure a temperature range from –18°C to 538°C (0°F to 1,000°F). The miniature sensor head allows measurements in confined, hard-to-reach places and harsh environments. A 6' shielded cable connects the sensor to the main electronics housing--a rugged NEMA 4 (IP65) die-cast aluminum enclosure. The OS102 version includes a built-in LED display that users can switch between °C and °F. Standard features include adjustable emissivity, field-adjustable alarm output, and an RS-232 interface. Available analog outputs include 4 to 20 mA, 0-5 Vdc, 0-10 Vdc, 1 mV/deg., and a Type K thermocouple. All models are CE marked. Prices start at $195. OMEGA ENGINEERING INC., Stamford, CT.
