By integrating a NTSC decoder and backlight with inverter, the T-51380L050-FW-P-AB 5'' thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD is said to provide a plug-and-play display module that reduces or eliminates any external interfacing required on the part of designers. The transmissive LCD delivers high luminance (320 nits) and a 960 x 234 (320 x RGB) dot pixel display format. And it permits the user to adjust color, luminance and contrast, either on the back of the display or externally by means of a user interface controller.Measuring 127.4 mm wide x 92.8 mm high x 18.5 mm deep and weighing just 230 grams, the slim and compact T-51380L050J-FW-P-AB LCD module also features a wide, -10¡C to +60¡C operating temperature range and is well-suited for use in security/monitoring/surveillance systems, car TV screens, portable DVD players, and global positioning systems (GPSs).
