Capable of measuring in either bar or psi units, this new pressure sensor contains a digital readout, as well as programmable dual set points with adjustable hysteresis. The sensor features a 4-digit, 7-segment digital display that provides continuous pressure data and facilitates setup via a programming menu. A separate bar graph exhibits a comparison of set point conditions to overall sensor range.
The self-contained unit operates on the piezo-resistive principle and offers a switch point response time of less than 70 ms. The device can monitor pressures up to 5,800 psi. It operates on 10 to 30 Vdc and has two pnp (sourcing) outputs. Integral circuitry protects the unit from short-circuit damage.
