For space-conscious display installations, the 644-2100 series illuminated pushbutton switches are available in a range of configurations from single-pole double throw to four-pole double throw. The components can replace up to four switches, reducing panel-mounting requirements up to 75%. They install from the front and attach via a mounting sleeve that retains the switch housing, fitting into an industry-standard 0.698"-square hole. The units accept both T-1 lamps and LEDs and switch actions are available in momentary, momentary snap, or alternate actions. Specs include a minimum life span of 100,000 actuations, current ratings of 2A resistive and 0.5A inductive, an operating pressure of 909g ±454g, nominal plunger travel of 4.7 mm, and silver-plated contacts (gold plating is optional). Prices start from $159 each/100. ELECTRO-MECH COMPONENTS INC., El Monte, CA. (888) 442-7180.
