Designed to provide uniform illumination in T1 (3 mm) display arrays, the LP4 quad-level light pipes employ a four tier light-pipe assembly that fits over standard surface-mount LEDs. Its proprietary design is said to eliminate cross talk between indicator stations to provide clearly defined signaling. The Model LP4-EP and LP4-LP are available with extended or recessed lens profiles, respectively. Both components feature a low profile, measuring 21.4 mm x 4.5 mm and 21.5 mm in height. Their interlocking design minimizes the vertical distance between lens centers, easing alignment. The light pipes can replace most industry-standard, four-high LED mounts. They are priced from $0.60 each in production quantities and are available from stock. For further information, contact BIVAR INC, Irvine, CA. (800) 772-2377.
