Tailored for use with the USB Explorer260 line of protocol tools and available free of charge with the USB Explorer EX260 generator, DeviceExaminer software verifies that a USB device under test complies with the USB 2.0 Specification Chapter 9 and, where applicable, Hub, HID, and Mass Storage standard classes. Paired with the USB Explorer260 generator, the application automatically discovers a USB device under test and displays its relevant information. It detects device class and automatically executes tests pertinent to that class. The software then executes a suite of tests, monitors the resulting interactions, and generates a report detailing the pass/fail results of each individual test. It can also control the generator to record a trace of every executed test in case further debugging is required. If there are errors, they can be easily debugged using the analyzer's capabilities to examine the traces captured during test. Price for the USB Explorer260 Generator is $8,999 and DeviceExaminer is free of charge. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
