With X Windows-783, an X11R6 server for the company's SVME/DMV-783 multimedia graphics controller, users can take advantage of the ease of X Windows without compromise or sacrifice of their real-time requirements. The software enables systems integrators to employ the X Windows commercial standard and provides extensions for supporting dual displays, video overlays, a frame grabber and other hardware features of the graphics controller card. It also affords direct access to the unit's high-performance graphics kernel. The C80 graphics controller supports card-level diagnostics, as well as applications running under VxWorks/Tornado or LynxOS real-time operating systems. Interfaces for Xlib and OSF/Motif are available to enhance display characteristics.
