Forming a complete bench for those needing to optimize and validate the performance of their designs as per the DisplayPort 1.1 standard, the company pairs its DSA70804 8-GHz, real-time oscilloscope with DPOJET advanced software. As an alternative, users can combine RT-Eye and Jit3 software with existing TDS or DPO series oscilloscopes. Additional components include an AWG7102 arbitrary waveform generator, DSA8200 sampling oscilloscope with IConnect software and 80E03 and 80E04 modules, P7380SMA probes, and DisplayPort fixtures from Efficere Technologies. Tektronix also has submitted new source, cable, and sink methods of implementation (MOI) to the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) as an aid to engineers and test labs performing DisplayPort 1.1 compliance testing. MOI and setup files are available on the company's website. For more details, call TEKTRONIX INC., Beaverton, OR. (800) 426-2200.
