Intended for high-resolution video applications that use analog inputs, such as LCD monitors and projectors, plasma displays, and TVs, the ICS1531 is a triple-channel, 8-bit A/D converter with an integrated line-locked clock generator. Made using a low-voltage CMOS mixed-signal process, the IC is an effective data-capture device for resolutions from VGA to UXGA. And it offers analog-to-digital conversion and synchronized pixel clock generation up to 160 MSPS or 160 MHz in a single-ended format. Dynamic Phase Adjust circuitry allows end-user control over the pixel clock phase relative to the recovered sync signal and analog pixel data. The advanced PLL uses an internal programmable feedback divider. Two additional independent PLLs with spread-spectrum functionality support memory and panel clock requirements. The devices come in 144-pin LQFPs.
